Do you need some ideas for new hikes? Kinda at a loss for where to go?  It’s not too early to start planning your next great hike!

Our program speaker, Scott Marchant, is the author of five guidebooks featuring great hikes in central and SW Idaho. To give you a taste of what’s out there, he’ll highlight a hike from each of his guidebooks plus have two or three ideas for short backpacks. And a bonus! He’ll soon be publishing a 6^th guidebook of the Seven Devils. He’ll have tales to tell you of hiking the area to ensure his guidebook has the most up-to-date information.

A few items to note:

• Sections of Warm Springs Avenue will be closed until ~December 8th. Watch for detours if you usually take Warm Springs Avenue to the Idaho Fish & Game Building on Walnut. More information here.
  
• There is no potluck dinner. Food is not allowed in the Fish & Game meeting rooms.
• Building doors are locked after normal business hours. A MWOC volunteer will be stationed at the door to allow attendees to enter. Please arrive by 7:00 PM for the program, as the door will not be staffed after the program begins.
  
• The officers will have a brief business meeting at 6:00 PM at the same location. All members are welcome to attend.
