REFUND POLICY

The Mountain West Outdoor Club, Inc. (“MWOC”) is a 501(c)7 tax-exempt, non-profit social club incorporated in the State of Idaho for the recreational and educational benefit of its members.

MWOC will refund membership dues paid by a member if that member relinquishes his/her membership within 10 days of payment. The member’s resignation must be made in writing, either to the MWOC Gmail account (MWOCID@gmail.com) or to the club’s post office box (shown below). Within the 10-day window, no reason is necessary to request a refund. After 10 days, refunds will be made only for extenuating circumstances and at the discretion of the MWOC officers.

If a member overpays his/her annual dues, the member may choose to have the overpayment refunded or applied to the next year’s dues. The member should contact the club at one of the addresses shown below if s/he chooses to pay dues forward; otherwise, a refund check or, if the overpayment occurred online, credit card refund will be issued.

Refunds for events or other non-membership costs will be made only if the club has not incurred or will not incur expenses as a result of the refund. If a member overpays for an event or other non-membership cost, a refund check or credit card refund will be issued, providing the club will incur no expense.
