Rake Up Boise (RUB) is just around the corner.  This is always a great city-wide volunteer effort to assist seniors and disabled members of our community with raking their yards in the fall.  We now have our house assignments: 2 homes in the north end, 40 bags total which is a bit less than in previous years.

MWOC will be participating again this year with a few modifications.  Due to the coronavirus we will refrain from the potluck brunch.  Instead plan to bring your own hot drink and masked face (admiring glances and comments for the most innovative RUB mask suggested).  We can socialize at the park for a few minutes before heading out to our first house.  Plan to wear your mask and maintain social distancing throughout the event.  We’re normally done before noon, so that only means being extra conscientious for about 2 hours.  I think we can do this  We’ll discuss the ins and outs of accomplishing this prior to leaving the park.  Some suggestions:  label equipment with your name (I’ll bring sanitizer for any shared equipment), consider garden gloves.  

There are eleven people signed up already.  I’ll be capping this at twenty two so we have space to social distance. I'm requesting all interested persons sign up via Wild Apricot. Feel free to call if you have any questions or wish to sign up.
