The chill in the air is reminding us it's time to think about the Mountain West Annual New Year's ski and snowshoe trip. Winnie and Cheri are this year's co-leaders and the hotel reservation has been made. The plan is to meet the morning of New Year's eve in Boise and carpool to the AmericInn in Hailey. A suite is reserved for attendees to gather with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. Plan on potluck the first night and leftovers or restaurant the second night. For our potluck, there will be 3 soups (Cheri will bring one and volunteers are needed for the other two). Potluck for the rest and a volunteer to bring utensils and paper products.

Activities: 1) First afternoon ski/snowshoe north of Ketchum; 2) New Year's day is at Galena Lodge; and 3) Jan 2 is open for exploring, skiing (cross country or downhill), or some go home.

If you want to sleep in the suite, let Cheri know, or find a roommate and make your own reservation at AmericInn at 208-788-7950. Tell them you are with Mountain West Outdoor Club (contract price is $111.92). They will ask for a CC# but full refunds if cancelled up to 24 hours before the event. AmericInn has a breakfast bar included and an indoor pool and hot tub.
