We’re on again for the almost-annual Anthony Lakes trip. We’ll be staying at the Super 8 in Baker City. This is always a fun couple of days. You are welcome to participate in as much, or as little, as you’d like. The general plan will be to drive to Baker City on Thursday, potluck dinner at the hotel dining area Thursday night, ski or snowshoe at Anthony Lakes on Friday, dinner out Friday night. Saturday is totally flexible, and each carload tends to have their own agenda: return to Anthony Lakes to ski or snowshoe, tour the Oregon Interpretive site, have brunch at The Grand hotel. Options abound.

I have rented one group room with space for three more women. I know a lot of you will want to rent your own rooms. Room rates fluctuate. Today the rate was $200.93 for a room with 2 queen beds for two nights with AARP or AAA. The price includes breakfast: waffles, biscuits & gravy, and other normal hotel fare.
