I found a greenbelt access near the new bridge.  From the Walmart on W. State near Glenwood, drive about one mile west to Ulmer,  Turn left into the parking lot of Foothills Christian Church, where you will see my white GMC truck parked just before 10 am. Driving a few blocks on Ulmer, we turn onto Sultana and park at the Duxbury Pier junction with the greenbelt.  The bridge is 1/4 mile left from that junction, where we will continue on either side of the river.  Local input assured me any flooding is a long ways from that junction.  We'll walk at a moderate pace with stops for 1 1/2 hours.  Lunch afterwards if desired.  Please RSVP, Liz McWhorter.

PS:  Hoping we might have a rain-free window at 10.  Otherwise this hike may happen the following week.  Bring your rain jacket and possibly binoculars.  We always find worthwhile observations.
