I apologize to those who have expressed interest in this activity. I have become increasingly concerned about the potential for large crowds trying to get out of Boise into the zone of totality and the safety of participants.

Even though Horseshoe Bend and Emmett have not advertised themselves as eclipse viewing locations, local residents have been warned to take this event seriously and expect vehicles parked along highways. Because of this, we might not be able to access the put in or take out.
